The Best Hyperliquid Tools
for Traders
2026–2027 Guide

📅 October 2026 ⏱ 12 min read 🛠 Platform Guide
Hyperliquid’s native interface is genuinely powerful — but the real edge comes from layering the right third-party tools on top. This guide covers what’s actually worth using in 2026 and what you can skip.
6 TOOL CATEGORIES COVERED IN THIS GUIDE 📊 Charting TradingView & native 🔔 Alerts Price & liquidation 🗂 Portfolio Tracking P&L & history 🐋 On-Chain Data OI, funding, whales 📰 News & Sentiment Real-time signals 🧮 Calculators Position & risk sizing
Hyperliquid’s trading interface gives you everything you need to execute trades — order book, charts, position management, and funding data all in one place. But to trade with a genuine edge, you need more than what’s built in. You need the right data sources, the right alert systems, and the right tracking tools layered on top.
This guide covers the tools I actually use and recommend — across six categories. Most are free. Where paid options exist, I’ll flag what makes them worth it. I’ve skipped anything that’s stopped working, become unreliable, or that I simply don’t find useful in practice.

📊 Charting Tools

TV
TradingView
tradingview.com
FREE TIER AVAILABLE CHARTING
TradingView is the default charting tool for serious traders on Hyperliquid — and with the native TradingView integration that launched in mid-2026, you can now access Hyperliquid market data directly inside TradingView without any additional setup. This means your chart, your indicators, and your order data all in one place.
The free tier gives you access to all the essential indicators (EMA, RSI, MACD, volume, Bollinger Bands), three chart layouts, and the ability to draw support/resistance lines. The paid tiers ($14.95–$59.95/month) add more simultaneous chart layouts, more indicators per chart, real-time alerts via email and mobile, and higher-resolution data for shorter timeframes. For most traders, the free tier is sufficient to start.
✅ Native HL integration ✅ OI & funding overlays ✅ Custom indicators ✅ Multi-timeframe
CryptoJag tip: Add an Open Interest indicator as a separate panel below your price chart. When OI moves with price, the trend is confirmed. When it diverges, treat the move with suspicion. See the OI guide for the full breakdown.
HL
Hyperliquid Native Charts
app.hyperliquid.xyz
FREE CHARTING
Hyperliquid’s built-in charts are solid for quick reads and execution — they show mark price, index price, funding rate, open interest, and 24h volume directly in the stats bar above the chart. For fast trades where you don’t want to switch windows, the native chart is usually sufficient. The candlestick display and basic timeframes are all there. It’s not a replacement for TradingView when doing serious analysis, but for the actual moment of entry and position management it’s all you need.

🐋 On-Chain Data & Analytics

HL
Hyperliquid Stats Dashboard
stats.hyperliquid.xyz
FREE ON-CHAIN DATA
Hyperliquid’s official stats page is the first stop for platform-wide data. It shows total open interest across all markets, daily volume, number of unique traders, cumulative fees, HLP vault performance, and market-by-market breakdowns. This is where you check which markets have abnormally high or low OI relative to their average — a key input for spotting potential volatility before it shows up on the price chart.
✅ OI by market ✅ Volume rankings ✅ HLP vault stats ✅ Historical charts
🐱
Hypurr.fun
hypurr.fun
FREE WHALE TRACKING
Hypurr is one of the most useful free tools in the Hyperliquid ecosystem. It tracks large trades in real time, shows the biggest open positions by wallet, monitors liquidation events, and displays the Hyperliquid leaderboard with full position breakdowns. When a whale opens or closes a multi-million dollar position on BTC or ETH, Hypurr surfaces it immediately — often before the price move fully develops.
It also has a Telegram alert bot you can set up to receive notifications for large trades above a threshold you choose — one of the most practical free alert systems available for Hyperliquid traders.
✅ Real-time large trades ✅ Whale positions ✅ Liquidation feed ✅ Telegram alerts
CryptoJag tip: Watch the liquidation feed during high-volatility periods. A cluster of large liquidations on one side (longs or shorts) often signals a short-term exhaustion of that move — particularly useful for timing counter-trend entries or tightening your stop on an existing position.
🏆
Hyperliquid Leaderboard
app.hyperliquid.xyz/leaderboard
FREE ON-CHAIN DATA
The native Hyperliquid leaderboard ranks traders by PnL over rolling time windows (day, week, month, all-time). You can click any wallet address to see their open positions, historical trades, and current exposure. This is genuinely useful — the top traders on Hyperliquid are operating at a level where their position data is worth watching, not to blindly copy, but to understand what the most informed participants in the market are doing and why.
VD
Velo Data
velodata.app
FREE / PAID FUNDING & OI
Velo Data specialises in derivatives analytics — funding rates, open interest, and liquidation data across multiple exchanges including Hyperliquid. It’s particularly useful for cross-exchange funding rate comparisons: if Hyperliquid’s funding on ETH is significantly more positive than Binance’s, arbitrageurs will act on that differential, giving you a useful leading indicator of how funding might normalise. The free tier covers the basics well; the paid tier adds deeper historical data and API access.
✅ Cross-exchange funding ✅ OI heatmaps ✅ Liquidation data

🗂 Portfolio Tracking

CP
Copin.io
copin.io
FREE / PAID PORTFOLIO / COPY
Copin is a multi-protocol perp analytics and copy-trading platform with strong Hyperliquid support. The analytics side is the most useful for most traders: paste any wallet address and see their full trade history, win rate, average R:R, best markets, worst markets, and risk metrics. This is a much deeper breakdown than the native leaderboard provides, and it’s genuinely useful for evaluating whether a top-performing trader is actually skilled or just lucky on a few large bets.
The copy-trading feature (paid) lets you automatically mirror a trader’s positions in your own account — with position size limits and risk controls you set. Use it with caution: even the best traders on Hyperliquid have drawdown periods, and copying without understanding the strategy is high-risk.
✅ Deep trader analytics ✅ Win rate / R:R stats ✅ Copy trading ✅ Multi-protocol
PS
Parsec Finance
parsec.finance
FREE / PAID PORTFOLIO
Parsec is a DeFi portfolio dashboard that pulls in your wallet data across chains and protocols — including Hyperliquid positions, HLP vault deposits, and HYPE token holdings. Connect your wallet address and see everything in one view: your total portfolio value, individual position performance, historical P&L by protocol, and net worth over time. Particularly useful if you’re running Hyperliquid alongside other DeFi protocols and want a single dashboard view of total exposure.

🔔 Alert Tools

Price alerts are one of the most underused tools in trading. Setting an alert at a key level means you don’t have to stare at the chart — the chart comes to you. Here’s the alert stack that actually works for Hyperliquid.
TV
TradingView Price Alerts
via tradingview.com
FREE (limited) / PAID ALERTS
TradingView’s alert system is the most flexible available. You can set alerts on price levels, indicator crossovers, RSI thresholds, EMA touches — any condition you can draw or calculate on a chart. The free tier allows a limited number of active alerts. Paid tiers allow more alerts and add delivery via email, push notification, and SMS. For Hyperliquid specifically, set alerts at your key support/resistance levels and at your planned entry price so you get notified when the market approaches your setup.
✈️
Hypurr Telegram Alert Bot
via hypurr.fun
FREE ALERTS
Hypurr’s Telegram bot sends real-time alerts for large trades and liquidations directly to your Telegram. You set a minimum size threshold — for example, any trade or liquidation above $500,000 — and the bot pings you instantly whenever that threshold is crossed on Hyperliquid. Free and highly reliable. This is the closest thing to a whale alert system built specifically for Hyperliquid, and it requires zero technical setup beyond joining a Telegram channel and configuring your preferences.

📰 News & Market Sentiment

CQ
CryptoQuant
cryptoquant.com
FREE / PAID ON-CHAIN / SENTIMENT
CryptoQuant is the go-to platform for macro on-chain data — exchange inflows/outflows, miner activity, stablecoin supply, and derivatives market sentiment signals. While not Hyperliquid-specific, its broader market data is directly relevant to your trading: a large BTC inflow to exchanges signals selling pressure that will affect Hyperliquid’s BTC-USDC perp. The free tier includes a solid set of charts; the paid tier adds alerts and deeper historical data. Worth bookmarking even if you only check it weekly.
𝕏
Crypto Twitter / X — Hyperliquid Accounts
x.com
FREE SENTIMENT
The Hyperliquid community on X is unusually high signal compared to most crypto projects. The official @HyperliquidX account posts protocol updates, new market listings, and system announcements — follow it for anything that could move markets. A few analysts and traders also post genuine daily market commentary and position updates worth following. Use X for news and context, not for trade signals — and apply the same scepticism to any public trade call that you’d apply to anything else.
Must-follow: @HyperliquidX (official) — for protocol announcements and new listings

🧮 Position Sizing & Risk Calculators

Every trade on Hyperliquid should go through a position sizing calculation before entry. There are a few ways to do this — from building your own spreadsheet to using dedicated tools.
HL
Hyperliquid Order Panel
Built into app.hyperliquid.xyz
FREE CALCULATOR
The Hyperliquid order panel shows your estimated liquidation price and the margin required as you adjust position size and leverage in real time. This is one of the most useful built-in tools on the platform — use it to confirm that your stop-loss sits safely between your entry and the liquidation price before confirming any trade. Never enter a position where your planned stop is closer to entry than the liquidation price — you’ll be liquidated before your stop triggers.
📋
Position Sizing Spreadsheet
Google Sheets / Excel
FREE (DIY) CALCULATOR
Building a simple position sizing spreadsheet takes about 10 minutes and eliminates the mental arithmetic from every trade. The formula is: =(Account × Risk%) ÷ SL%. Set up three input cells (account balance, risk %, stop-loss %) and one output cell with this formula. Open it before every trade, update the numbers, and the correct position size appears instantly. See the full methodology in the position sizing guide.

Tools Worth Skipping

Not everything in the Hyperliquid tool ecosystem is worth your time. A few things to steer around:
❌
Paid “signal groups” and trade alert subscriptions. No one with a genuine edge selling signals charges $49/month for it — their edge comes from trading it, not selling it. These services consistently underperform the market over any meaningful period. Spend that money on your own education instead.
❌
AI trading bots marketed to retail. Automated trading tools exist and some institutional-grade systems work — but retail-facing “AI bots” for crypto perps almost universally fail to outperform over extended periods, and several have resulted in significant losses. Until you deeply understand the market you’re trading, automation makes your errors faster, not better.
❌
Indicator overload. More indicators don’t produce better trades — they produce more conflicting signals and more reasons to talk yourself into or out of setups. One trend indicator, one momentum indicator, volume, and support/resistance levels is enough for most traders. Master those before adding anything else.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. The free tier of TradingView, the free Hyperliquid stats page, Hypurr.fun, the native leaderboard, and a simple position sizing spreadsheet is everything most traders need to operate at a professional level. Paid tools like Velo Data’s premium tier or Copin’s copy-trading feature add convenience and depth, but they don’t provide an edge that the free stack can’t achieve with more manual effort. Start with the free tools and only add paid tiers if you hit a genuine limitation that’s costing you.
Copy trading carries the same risks as the trader you’re copying — including their drawdown periods, their leverage choices, and their strategy changes. A trader who made 300% in a bull market by running high leverage may draw down 80% in a volatile sideways market. Before copy-trading anyone, use Copin to analyse their full trade history — not just their recent returns. Look at their worst months, their maximum drawdown, and how they behave in different market conditions. Set a strict position size cap on any copy trading to limit your maximum exposure regardless of what the copied trader does.
Hyperliquid’s native interface shows your trade history and closed P&L in the account section. For a more structured view of your performance over time — win rate, average win vs average loss, best and worst markets — paste your wallet address into Copin or use Parsec Finance to see a full historical breakdown. For serious traders, keeping a personal trading journal alongside these tools is the single most effective improvement you can make to your process. Write down your entry rationale, your position size calculation, and your result on every trade. Patterns emerge quickly.
The data tools mentioned in this guide (Hypurr, Hyperliquid Stats, Copin, Parsec, Velo) primarily use read-only access to on-chain data via public wallet addresses — meaning you can use most features by simply entering your wallet address, without ever connecting or signing anything. When a tool asks you to connect your wallet and sign a transaction, verify exactly what you’re signing before approving. Read-only dashboards should never require you to sign any on-chain transaction. If a tool requests permission to transfer assets, decline immediately.

The Bottom Line

The tools in this guide are the ones I actually use. The core free stack — TradingView with the Hyperliquid integration, Hyperliquid Stats, Hypurr, and the native leaderboard — covers the vast majority of what a serious trader needs. Build the habit of checking OI and funding context before every trade, set alerts so you’re not chained to the screen, and keep a position sizing calculator open before every entry.
The edge in trading comes from process and discipline, not from having the most tools. A trader with one chart and a spreadsheet who sizes correctly and cuts losses fast will outperform someone with six paid subscriptions and no risk management every time.

My daily setup: TradingView open on one monitor with the Hyperliquid integration, Hypurr running in a browser tab for whale and liquidation watching, and the Hyperliquid stats page checked once before the trading session to see where OI sits across major markets. Position size gets calculated in a spreadsheet before every entry — no exceptions. That’s genuinely the whole stack. Everything else I’ve tried has either been redundant with what I already have or not reliable enough to trust.
