VaultFlow — Getting Started Guide
Step 1

Set up your
crypto wallet.

Your wallet is your gateway to Hyperliquid — it holds your funds and signs transactions. If you already have one of these wallets installed, skip ahead. If not, pick one below and install it first.

Rabby Wallet
More secure than MetaMask. Great for DeFi power users.

Coinbase Wallet
Best for complete beginners. Easy recovery options.

⚠️
Write down your seed phrase When you create your wallet, you'll be given a 12 or 24-word seed phrase. Write it down on paper and store it somewhere safe offline. Never share it with anyone — not even VaultFlow support.
💡
Already have a wallet? If you have MetaMask, Rabby, or Coinbase Wallet installed, make sure it's set to the Arbitrum One network before moving to the next step.

How to add Arbitrum One network

1
Open your wallet extension

Click the wallet icon in your browser toolbar. Make sure it's unlocked.

2
Find the network selector

At the top of MetaMask you'll see "Ethereum Mainnet" — click it. For Rabby/Coinbase, look for the network name or a globe icon.

3
Add or select Arbitrum One

Search for "Arbitrum One" in the network list. If it's not there, click "Add Network" and visit chainlist.org to add it automatically.

4
Confirm the switch

Once switched, you'll see "Arbitrum One" at the top. You're ready to receive USDC.

Step 2

Get USDC on
Arbitrum.

Hyperliquid uses USDC as its deposit currency. You need to get USDC onto the Arbitrum One network first — either by buying it directly on an exchange or converting from another crypto you already own.

Why USDC on Arbitrum? Arbitrum is a fast, low-fee Ethereum layer-2 network. Bridging from Arbitrum to Hyperliquid is the cheapest and fastest route — typically less than $1 in fees and under 5 minutes.

Option A — Buy USDC directly on Arbitrum

1
Open Coinbase, Kraken, or Binance

Log in to your exchange account. If you don't have one, Coinbase is the easiest for US residents.

2
Buy USDC

Search for USDC and purchase the amount you want to deposit. We recommend starting with at least $100 to make fees worthwhile.

3
Withdraw to your wallet on Arbitrum One

Go to Withdraw → paste your wallet address → select Arbitrum One as the network. This is critical — selecting the wrong network can result in lost funds.

Option B — Already have ETH or other crypto?

1
Go to app.uniswap.org or app.1inch.io

Connect your wallet. Make sure you're on the Arbitrum One network.

2
Swap your token for USDC

Select your token (e.g. ETH) as the input and USDC as the output. Confirm the swap in your wallet.

🚨
Always double-check the network Before withdrawing from any exchange, confirm the withdrawal network says "Arbitrum One" — not Ethereum, BSC, or any other chain. Sending to the wrong network means your funds could be lost.
Step 3

Bridge to
Hyperliquid.

Now you'll move your USDC from Arbitrum into Hyperliquid. This is called "depositing" and it moves your funds onto Hyperliquid's chain where the vaults live. The process takes about 2–5 minutes.

1
Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz

Visit app.hyperliquid.xyz in your browser. Make sure your wallet is connected to Arbitrum One.

2
Connect your wallet

Click "Connect Wallet" in the top right. Select MetaMask, Rabby, or Coinbase Wallet. Approve the connection request in your wallet popup.

3
Navigate to Portfolio → Deposit

In the top menu, click "Portfolio" then select the "Deposit" tab. You'll see a deposit interface with a USDC amount field.

4
Enter your deposit amount

Type the amount of USDC you want to deposit. Leave a small amount (around $2–3 worth of ETH) in your Arbitrum wallet to cover the gas fee for the transaction.

5
Approve and confirm

Click "Deposit." Your wallet will show two popups — first to approve USDC spending, then to confirm the deposit. Approve both. The transfer typically completes in 2–5 minutes.

6
Confirm your balance

Once complete, go to your Portfolio page and you'll see your USDC balance on Hyperliquid. You're now ready to deposit into a vault.

💡
Need ETH for gas? You need a small amount of ETH on Arbitrum to pay gas fees (~$0.50–2). If you don't have any, buy a small amount of ETH on Coinbase and withdraw it to Arbitrum, or use the Arbitrum Bridge to move ETH from Ethereum mainnet.
Step 4

Choose your
vault.

Not all vaults are created equal. VaultFlow only recommends vaults that meet strict minimum criteria — so you're not gambling on unproven strategies with your capital.

Our minimum vault criteria

$1M+ Min. TVL
90+ Days Active
50%+ Min. APR
💡
Why these criteria matter TVL shows other traders trust the vault with real money. 90 days proves the strategy has survived real market conditions — not just a lucky week. A 50%+ APR floor means the return is worth the on-chain risk.

Current recommended vaults

How to find vaults on Hyperliquid

1
Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/vaults

This is the official vault marketplace. You'll see all available vaults with their current APR and TVL.

2
Sort by TVL descending

Click the TVL column header to sort largest first. This immediately filters out small unproven vaults.

3
Check the vault age and APR

Click into any vault you're interested in and check the "Days Active" and current APR. Cross-reference against our weekly picks email before depositing.

Step 5

Deposit &
start earning.

You're almost there. This final step deposits your USDC into your chosen vault. Once in, your capital starts earning immediately — compounding automatically with no further action needed from you.

1
Open your chosen vault

Go to app.hyperliquid.xyz/vaults and click on the vault you selected in Step 4.

2
Click "Deposit"

On the vault page you'll see a Deposit button and an amount field. Enter how much USDC you want to put in.

3
Confirm in your wallet

A wallet popup will appear asking you to sign the transaction. This is gasless on Hyperliquid — no ETH required for vault deposits. Click "Confirm."

4
You're earning

That's it. Your position will appear on the vault page showing your deposit, current value, and accrued yield. Earnings compound automatically in real time.

Withdrawing is just as easy You can withdraw your funds at any time from the same vault page by clicking "Withdraw." Most vaults process withdrawals instantly. Some larger vaults may have a short lock period — always check the vault details page first.
